Bear Prototyping is a one-man engineering shop founded by me, Sergei Grishin. While experiencing a rich and exciting engineering career, I wanted to provide a service that I wish I had with projects that I've worked on. During my entrepreneurial endeavors, I've always wanted a second set of eyes or a specialist to look over my work. Not having that as an option most of time, I ended up spending more time experimenting and testing than I wanted to. This would extend product development timelines and keep me tied up with engineering work instead of growing my business. However, I loved working on perfecting products and their production processes, and that's when Bear Prototyping came to fruition. I realized that my passion was centered on developing amazing products, overcoming unique engineering challenges, and exploring creative solutions more so than anything else.

If you are someone who simply has a good idea and wants to make come it to life, I want to be your partner on that journey. Even if you are an experienced, professional engineer, I can be there for you to ease the workload. Despite pitching myself as a generalist, I have a network of fellow engineers that I trust to cover areas that I am less versed in. I am upfront and honest about projects that are outside of my scope, and this will be covered during the free initial consultation.
